Receptionist (Fresher)
Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist (Fresher) to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you will play a key role in representing our company and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This entry-level position is perfect for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional attitude, and a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities:Greet and Welcome Visitors:
- Welcome visitors and clients with a positive, professional attitude.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
Answer and Route Phone Calls:
- Manage incoming calls, answering questions and redirecting calls to relevant team members as needed.
- Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up.
Manage Front Desk Operations:
- Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents.
Handle Inquiries:
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person with accurate information.
- Provide information on company services and policies when needed.
Assist with Scheduling and Appointments:
- Help coordinate and schedule meetings or appointments.
- Maintain calendars and keep track of meeting room bookings.
Support Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed, including handling mail, organizing documents, and managing office supplies.
Educational Background:
- High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma or coursework in Office Administration or related fields is a plus).
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
- Positive and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
Soft Skills:
- Customer service-oriented attitude.
- Punctual and reliable, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment (e.g., copier, fax machine).
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or administrative position is a plus.
